Out With The Resolutions-

resolution
noun
1.
a firm decision to do or not to do something.

To me a resolution is something you set out to do and never quite get round to fully completing it ... Am I right?

So the reason I am writing this a week since we welcomed in 2014 is because I wanted to take a different approach and start the year with clear goals, and not resolutions I quickly thought up in the remaining 10 minutes of 2013.

In doing so I feel I am setting my self up for  a higher level of success, and not setting out pointless resolutions I know won't last a month (as lets face I am not going to have a Victoria Secret Model's figure by February)

I guess what I really have done is banished resolutions and given myself a vision for the year, where I am going to initiate small changes into my everyday activities to help strive towards my bigger picture.
I wanted to share this post with you so we can ensure 2014 glitters and we achieve our goals and dreams.

Dream big - Aspire to be the best version of yourself.

Aside from trying to make resolutions, a new year creates a blank canvas to create any story you want to. It is an opportunity to leave anything negative behind and concentrate on creating your something amazing.By the end of the year I want to have my dream body and a career I am passionate about - This does not mean quitting my day job or not eating until December as both are never going to happen and completely unfeasible. I am however reverting back to a question many of us have been asked hundreds of times before - What do you want to be when you grown up?. I have always known I am at my most happiest when I am working for myself and doing something wedding related. So over the past week I have been looking at ways of introducing my passion into my everyday activities which I can then develop into a one day full time job :)

As for my dream body I am extremely guilty of wanting instant results, and after crash dieting or attempting intense levels of exercise I become quickly annoyed that I haven't reached my target my day 5 ( and care barely walk!!)This is where my New Year Goals have come into affect - Instead of trying to get quick instant results I have implemented a healthy lifestyle change that involves no fad diets but sensible eating and regular exercise. The key to my potential success here is the way in which all of these changes are not going to cause major disruption to my day to day activities but become part of it.

This year I turn 25 which I feel is a turning point in itself so knowing I have implemented such a positive approach already makes me feel ready for getting a little bit older :).

Finally - Do all those things that make you happy.
Laugh More - Live More - Love More.

By embracing all these happy provoking things it will naturally allow us to feel more positive, and gain all that we are wishing for for 2014.

Happy 2014 Dolls xXx
